The Annual General Meeting (AGM) cum Workshop for the Farmers’ Producer Company (FPC), in collaboration with the Service Provider under the Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCD-NER), was successfully held on 13th March 2025 at the VDB Hall, Pughoboto.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Sukhato A Sema, MLA of 13th Pughoboto Assembly Constituency, and the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Pughoboto, Tiameren Chang. The event marked an important milestone for the Pughoboto FPC as it was inaugurated with the flag-off ceremony of the Transportation Vehicle allotted to the FPC under the MOVCD-NER scheme, officiated by the MLA, Dr. Sukhato A Sema.

The flag-off ceremony symbolized a significant step toward improving the logistics and transportation capabilities of the Pughoboto FPC, facilitating better access to markets and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the initiative.
Following the AGM, an engaging workshop was conducted, focusing on skill development, best practices, and the benefits of the MOVCD-NER project, aimed at empowering local farmers and producers.
The event was deemed a success, with participants expressing enthusiasm about the opportunities presented by the MOVCD-NER initiative and its potential to positively impact the local agricultural economy.
