A truck lost control and crashed several vehicles at Burma Camp, Dimapur on Thursday causing panic among commuters. The damaged vehicles included a Maruti Brezza, a motorcycle, a scooty, and a parked Maruti Alto.
According to traffic police, three persons sustained minor injuries, two from the motorcycle and one from the scooty. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. The truck has a Nagaland registration number.
The driver of the truck reported to have fled the scene shortly after the crash. Authorities confirmed that the driver remains untraceable, and a lookout operation is currently underway.
Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances leading to the accident.
