The three-day Sunday School Teachers Retreat cum VBS Directors’ orientation program for Longkhim and Chare Area, organised by the United Sangtam Baptist Lithroti Ashimükhong (USBLA) concluded on Sunday at Yangli Mission Centre in Tuensang district.

R Surotsala, Secretary, Christian Education, Nancy, Associate Secretary, Christian education and Zijungla, Associate Secretary, Women Department were the resource persons of at the program.

In the final service, Rev. Y Imtiba Sangtam, Executive Secretary, USBLA spoke on the topic “Committed to Serve”, the theme of the 3-day program during which he reminded the Sunday School teachers that “God has placed them in this ministry to nurture our young future” and that they play a dominate role in shaping the young minds with the word of God and should therefore live by good examples.

Bible study, craft making, and creative art were held for the teachers.

The same program was organised for churches in the districts of Kiphire, Kohima and Dimapur.
