With reference to the Chief Electoral Officer letter on March 13 and the announcement of General Election to Lok Sabha, 2024, the Deputy Commissioner of Wokha, Ajit Kumar Ranjan, IAS has informed that all the Flying Squad Teams are hereby activated with direction to execute the following immediate action:

1) All wall writings,Wall/Poster, Banners, Flags, defacement on Government Property is to be removed within 24 hours from the announcement of election.

2) All unauthorized political advertisements in any form of wall writings/posters/papers or defacement in any other form, cutouts/hoardings, banners, flags shall be removed from public property and public space within 48 hours from the announcement of election.

3) All unauthorized political advertisements in any form shall be removed from private property within 72 hours from the announcement of election.
