The first ever workshop on Capacity Building Plan Development using AI tools is being held at Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Nagaland Kohima. The two-day workshop on iGOT (Integrated Online Government Training) Karmayogi is organized by the Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department in collaboration with ATI, with resource persons from Capacity Building Commission (CBC), Government of India, Ranu Mukherjee, Advisor, CBC GOI and Maibam Warish State Coordinator CBC (Meghalaya, Manipur and Nagaland).
The inaugural program of the first ever such workshop in the State was held at ATI with a total of 65 participants from 35 Departments. Additional Chef Secretary (Agriculture) & Director General, ATI, Shashank Shekhar, IAS, gave the inaugural speech. The Director General, ATI In his speech stated that when the Government functions in an efficient and responsive manner it has a direct impact on society. The main and fundamental role of Government is to work for the common people. The officials from the CBC also gave a short presentation.
The inaugural workshop was chaired by Limakumla, Under Secretary P&AR and the vote of thanks was given by Livitoli Sukhalu, Dy Secretary, P&AR. The program was attended by Additional Director, Bendanglila with other officers and staff of the ATI.

Capacity Building Plan is a mechanism for developing the training module for the Govt. employees using Artificial Intelligence tools. The CBP will be used as a blueprint for the training requirements of the department with the aim of building future ready, citizen centric civil servants. The CBP will incorporate the national push towards capacity building at an institutional level while also taking into account state specific roles and responsibilities in the various departments.
