The 57th Yimkhiung Akheru Arihako (YAA) General Conference began in Pungro, Kiphire today.

The General Conference is held under the theme ‘Breaking through to excellence: Facing the Yimkhiung Future Together’ and will run from 10 to 12 January.

According to a DIPR report, the inaugural session was graced by Advisor to Chief Minister & Secretary General, NDPP, Abu Metha as the special guest and Advisor, IPR & Village Guards, S Keoshu Yimkhiung as the guest of honour.

During the inaugural session, Metha unveiled a monolith in commemoration of the 57th Yimkhiung Akheru Arihako (YAA).
