According to Dr. Thomas Keppen, Deputy CMO and Dr. Aman Konyak Medical Superintendent IC Mon, the total outpatient from August 14 to October 27 stands at 7437 while 2018 patients were admitted.
The officials Dy. CMO and MS stated that the total number of dengue patients admitted were 1523 while 23 patients were referred outside the district.
It has been informed that the hospital is providing medicines and investigations free of cost to all admitted patients through CMHIS & Ayushman Bharat cards.

The Medical officials further stated that following the meeting held with the Minister of H&FW, certain measures has been suggested and resolved to address the Dengue outbreak by the respective stake- holders:
1. Elisa Test to be made available in DH Mon.
2. Operational cost of manpower outsourced from other districts to be managed by the department.
3. Requirement of human resources especially M.O, Nurses and Lab. Technician to be addressed from various sources.
4. Printer for CBC 5 chamber to be supplied.
5. Separate Dengue ward to be arranged at the DH by making needed infrastructure adjustment.
6. The municipal to involve in maintaining the sanitation in the wards and towns in the district.
7. The community participation from various CSO’s to support the medical and municipal in source reduction and maintaining the sanitary practices.
