The ongoing protest by the All Nagaland Adhoc Teachers’ Group (ANATG) 2015 batch is set to continue even as a key meeting has been scheduled with School Education Advisor, Kekhrielhoulie Yhome on February 17 at 11 a.m. at Directorate of School Education.
According to ANATG core committee, the meeting is also expected to be attended by the signatories of the High Powered Committee (HPC).
Despite the scheduled talks, ANATG members reaffirmed that their agitation would go on until a clear and satisfactory decision is reached by the government. The group has been staging a sustained sit-in protest in Kohima since February 4, with outstation members camping in the state capital for nearly two weeks.

Ozukum stated that the February 17 meeting is being viewed as a crucial opportunity for the government to address the concerns of the 2015 batch teachers. However, he stressed that the protest will continue uninterrupted unless a firm assurance or resolution emerges from the discussions.
Further developments are awaited following the outcome of the meeting.
