TotPro Play School was inaugurated at Saron Colony, Wokha town, on Tuesday by Vineet Kumar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Wokha.
TotPro Play School is a Delhi-based franchise that adopts educational structures from Finland, Singapore, Japan, Germany, the US, the UK, and India, offering a curated curriculum focused on smart teaching methods and play-based learning for toddlers. The school aims to provide adequate teaching aids and a strong foundation for early education.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, Vineet Kumar lauded the vision and dedication behind establishing a competitive and performing school in the district. He emphasized that foundational education plays a vital role in shaping a child’s long-term growth and appreciated the opportunity it provides for both children and parents. He expressed optimism that with experienced administrators and staff, the school would become a centre for nurturing young minds, while wishing the institution success in its journey ahead.
K Edward Ngullie, president of ANPSA Wokha unit, in his words of encouragement, acknowledged the challenges of running a school and stressed the need for dedication and determination to achieve excellence. He remarked that education is the key to producing a skilled workforce and commended the proprietors and management for their initiative in setting up a strong foundation for learning.

The programme began with a dedication prayer by Rev Khonbemo P Kikon, former executive secretary of LBCA, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Vineet Kumar. T Thungchibemo Lotha, administrator and headmaster of TotPro Play School, chaired the programme and delivered the welcome address. The vote of thanks was proposed by Orenbomo Lotha, chairman of TotPro Play School Wokha, while Lijano Ezung, associate director of CNY, WTBC, offered the benediction prayer.
