Training cum demonstration on the establishment of a nutrient garden was successfully conducted by ATMA Kiphire at PMSHRI GHS Yangphi school premises to promote nutritional awareness and encourage kitchen gardening among students.

The program was led by Dr Manjunath SMS KVK as the resource person, who provided practical guidance on nursery raising, crop selection, and sustainable cultivation practices suitable for local conditions.

A total of 60 students actively participated in the program and, under his guidance, prepared nursery beds for chilli, cucumber, watermelon, tomato, and papaya.

The students also carried out direct cultivation of crops such as okra, cowpeas, and sweet corn in the school compound.
