The Meta Noya (an Event planner team of Arts and Music) in collaboration with district administration successfully concluded its four day Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan with a community walk held on the theme, “Say No to Drugs and Yes to Life”.
The campaign aimed to spread awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and encourage the community, especially the youth, to choose a healthy and positive lifestyle.
The campaign was made possible with the support from Government of Nagaland, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Health Department, Police Department, Education Department, NGOs, and various faith-based organizations.
The programme began with a welcome address delivered by the Founder of Meta Noya, Akhumba Sangtam, who highlighted the urgent need for collective efforts in creating a drug free society and empowering young people through awareness and community support.

Guest speakers including representatives from the United Sangtam Likhum Pumji, United Sangtam Students Conference, Akehda Sangtamlarü Thsingmujung , and Taxi Association addressed the gathering on the growing impact of drugs on society, particularly among the younger generation.
They emphasized the importance of awareness, community responsibility, and early prevention in building a drug free society.
USSC Vice President, Suropi Sangtam appreciated the initiative taken by the Meta Noya Team and extended full support towards such awareness programmes. He stated that the USSC remains committed and ever ready to support organizations working for meaningful causes, especially campaigns promoting a drug-free society within the jurisdiction.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Lumtsingse T Sangtam, President Human Rights, Kiphire who expressed gratitude to all the organizations and participants for their cooperation and support in making the campaign successful.
