The Central Legal Cell of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) held a consultative meeting at the party’s Central Office in Kohima on Tuesday.

The meeting was chaired by the Convenor of the Central Legal Cell, Dr Povotso Lohe.

According to the cell, the members unanimously resolved to work wholeheartedly towards strengthening the party under the leadership of Chief Minister and NPF President, Neiphiu Rio.

The meeting also decided to organise legal awareness programmes involving party leaders in the near future.

The Legal Cell further stated that it would continue to look into the party’s legal matters wherever required and remains prepared to extend legal assistance, where possible, even beyond the party fold.
