A one-day training on HIV/AIDS (P&C) Act 2017 with District administration, officials of all the offices and members from Community Base Organizations (CBOs) was held at Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall, Mokokchung today.

The training was organised by District AIDS Prevention Control Unit (DAPCU) Mokokchung, and sponsored by the NSACS.

During the training programme, W V Patton, Chief Judicial Magistrate Mokokchung & Secretary Mokokchung District Legal Services Association (DLSA), delivered a PowerPoint presentation on the salient features of the HIV/AIDS (P&C) Act, 2017, and the roles and responsibilities of ombudsman and complaint officers.

The keynote address on the training was delivered by Makshi Jamir, DPO, DAPCU.

The training was attended by ADC Mokokchung, administrative officers, officials from various departments and members from civil societies.
