The Department of Management, Nagaland University, Kohima Campus, Meriema conducted induction programmes for its newly admitted MBA and Post Graduate Diploma in Tourism and Travel Management (PGDTTM) students on Monday.
During the programme students were briefed by the faculty members on the structure and scope of the courses, the importance of time management, and opportunities for learning through the SWAYAM platform.
The faculty also briefed the students on maintaining a safe and respectful campus environment, including the university’s zero-tolerance policy towards ragging.

The programme began with a welcome address from Dr Dhrubajyoti Bordoloi, Assistant Professor, Department of Management, who welcomed the newly admitted students. Faculty members then interacted with the students and shared insights into the academic programmes. Prof Kh Devananda Singh, Head, Department of Management also addressed the students and welcomed them to the department.
The induction programme provides the new students with an opportunity to familiarise themselves with their academic programmes, courses and faculty members as they begin their academic journey at Nagaland University.
