90.8 Hills FM – The Voice of Change and Intanki National Park have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen public awareness and community participation in forest and wildlife conservation.

The MoU was signed on August 25 and would come into effect from September 2026 for a period of six months, marking a collaborative effort to bring conservation-related information and awareness closer to the community through radio and digital platforms.

Under the partnership, 90.8 Hills FM would support the dissemination of awareness content focusing on forest protection, wildlife conservation, biodiversity, responsible human–wildlife interaction and the importance of protecting Intanki National Park.

The collaboration would include radio-based awareness initiatives, public-interest messages and digital content aimed at making conservation issues more accessible and engaging for listeners. It would also provide a platform to highlight the work being undertaken for the protection of the park and its rich natural heritage.

The partnership reflects the importance of communication and community involvement in conservation,

recognising that protecting forests and wildlife extends beyond protected-area boundaries and requires greater public understanding and participation.

The MoU would remain in effect for six months from September 2026 to February 2027, during which 90.8

Hills FM and Intanki National Park would work together on agreed conservation awareness initiatives.
