The Nagaland Lokayukta Police conducted a physical spot verification of the Film Studio Project in Dimapur on September 25 to assess the progress of the project and review its implementation.

The verification was carried out by a team of the Nagaland Lokayukta Police, along with officials from the Information & Public Relations (IPR) team, the Executive Engineer of the Planning & Transformation Department, Nagaland, Kohima, and the contractor at the project site. The physical verification was conducted in view of the project’s scheduled completion timeline in October 2026.

During the visit, the inspection team reviewed the progress of the ongoing work and discussed the steps required for timely completion of the project. It was also informed that a joint coordination meeting is proposed to be held in October to deliberate on the project and take necessary action.

The visit was aimed at ensuring coordination among the concerned departments and stakeholders and facilitating the timely execution of the Film Studio Project.
