The monthly meeting of Phek DPDB along with a welcome programme in honour of the new Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman of DPDB Phek, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS, was held today at DPDB Hall, Phek.

Kezhienyi Khalo, MLA and Chairman DPDB, was the chairperson of the meeting and welcomed the members.

The newly posted DC Phek Kumar Ramnikant, IAS; SP Phek Bharat Laxman Markad, IPS; Commandant 5th NAP Yanrenthung Ngullie; ADC Meluri, Albert Ezung, and other new officers were self-introduced at the same time.

Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, MLA and Co-Chairman of the UDA Government, also attended the meeting. He said officers should be sincere enough for the development of Phek District during one’s period of stay in the district.

Azo also expressed his confidence in having posted efficient DC, SP and Commandant in the district, and urged them to enforce the rule of law in the district for the good of the citizens.

Kumar Ramnikant, DC & Vice Chairman DPDB, informed the members to be cooperative with the District Administration in all kinds of official jobs particularly in the upcoming Assembly Election in the state.

Detailed Powerpoint presentations of the departmental activities were given by the District Employment Officer and District Sericulture Officers at the meeting.

Excise Department and District Jail Phek were assigned to give the PowerPoint presentation in the next DPDB meeting.
