A review meeting of the District Reform Utsav Committee was held on September 28 at the DC’s Office Chamber, Meluri, with Deputy Commissioner, Meluri, Phuleshe K Yepthomi, NCS chairing the meeting.

During the meeting, DC reviewed the progress of the Reform Utsav awareness campaign in the district. He asked the committee members to share details of the awareness activities undertaken by their respective departments and reviewed the progress made so far.

He urged departments that have not yet conducted awareness campaigns to take up the activities at the earliest, before the launch of the Reform Utsav portal. He stressed the importance of ensuring that the campaign reaches citizens at the grassroots level and encouraged all departments to actively participate in the initiative.

The DC also requested the Education Department to disseminate information about the Reform Utsav awareness campaign to teachers in all village schools. He further encouraged the department to facilitate the collection of citizens’ feedback and inputs, enabling wider public participation in the Reform Utsav initiative.

The meeting also reviewed the need for coordinated efforts among departments to ensure effective public outreach and meaningful citizen participation in the Reform Utsav campaign.
