The monthly meeting of the Peren District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) was held today at DC’s Conference Hall, Peren under the chairmanship of DC and Vice Chairman, DPDB Peren, Vineet Kumar, IAS.
According to a DIPR report, the DC reviewed the agenda on CMHIS enrollment and reminded the house that deduction from salary has already started. He requested the departments which have not completed the enrollment process to do so at the earliest.
Regarding Election preparedness, Kumar informed the house that all Heads of Department as the nodal officers should ensure the presence of employees during the training which is set to commence soon.
He also pointed out that since the district is facing shortage of employees since 2012–2013 due to retirements, exemptions to election duty will not be entertained, if not for a genuine reason.
Kumar further asked the members to maintain political neutrality.
The DC entrusted SDO (C) Hq Kelevituo Nisa to make necessary arrangements with all the departments for the upcoming Republic Day celebration.
After the meeting, a training on the rational use of EVMs and wireless sets was imparted to the members by EAC Peren Seyievilie Pfukri and Addl SP Peren R T Chang respectively.
A meeting on election preparedness was also held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner later.
