In view of the ensuing general elections to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Kohima Shanavas C has directed all the heads of offices under Kohima district to remain in station till the election process is over.

An update from DPRO Kohima further informed that no leave should be granted to the subordinate officers/staff who have already been requisitioned/drafted for election duty without proper consultation with DC-DEO.

In a separate update, DPRO Kohima informed that a district contact centre with toll-free number 1950 and 24×7 control room (03702290148/03702290178) have been set up at the office of the DC and DEO, Kohima.
