The Additional Election Officer Peren on Tuesday congratulated all presiding officers and other polling officers while informing that the scrutiny was over and that there will be no repoll in any of the polling stations under 6-Tening and 7-Peren Assembly Constituencies.
The General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly was conducted on Monday in 59 constituencies.

The AEO said that poll was held in all the 127 polling stations under Peren district and the Observers along with the respective Returning Officers and political parties had the scrutiny today at the ADC office and everything went well and that the election was successful and completed.

The strong room was sealed on Tuesday morning with the arrival of the last polling officer and his team in the presence of the Observer and the political parties and it will be opened on the counting day, Thursday, in the presence of the political parties and Observers and the respective Ros, the AEO further stated.
He also informed that the guidelines provided by the Election Commission of India were followed while carrying out the management of the 14th NLA election. Moreover, 21 sector magistrates had coordinated with all the polling teams.

The AEO added that Peren, being a very peaceful district and the people cooperative, there were no incidents or any reports of violence hence the election was peaceful.
