Counting training conducted at Kiphire

Kiphire: The counting will be held in two places for 59th A/C Seyochung – Sitimi in DB’s Court DC Office and 60th A/ C Pungro- Kiphire in DC’s Conference Hall Kiphire

Counting training was held at DC’s Conference Hall Kiphire on 1 March 2023 in the presence of two Returning Officers from both the 59 Seyochung – Sitimi A/ C & 60 Pungro- Kiphire A/ C, a DIPR report stated.

During the training, Master Trainer Gagan encouraged all the trainees to be very sincere and attentive while counting the votes to avoid any mistakes. Once counting is over, everyone should recheck it two to three times. Since counting is the last part of the Election process everyone should focus only on their assigned duty.

Every table will be assisted by one Micro Observer and as per the directives from the ECI everyone should reach the place of counting by 5 a.m.

The counting will be held in two places for 59th A/C Seyochung – Sitimi in DB’s Court DC Office and 60th A/ C Pungro- Kiphire in DC’s Conference Hall Kiphire.

It may be mentioned here that critical law and order situation in Kiphire compelled the Home Commissioner of Nagaland to suspend all messaging services on Tuesday in a bid to prevent the situation to deteriorate further.
