Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the swearing-in of the Chief Minister in Nagaland, where the NDPP along with it’s BJP, will form the government after their double digit victory in the recently concluded assembly elections.
The oath-taking ceremony of Nagaland Chief Minister will take place on March 7 at Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima at 12 noon.
Prime Minister Modi will also attend the oath-taking ceremony in Meghalaya on the same day and Tripura the next day.
The NDPP-BJP had contested on a pre-poll alliance with a seat sharing formula of 40:20. While, the NDPP bagged 25 seats out of 40 constituencies, increasing it’a tally from 18, the BJP secured 12 seats.
