The Dapfütsumia Council, Kohima Village held a felicitation program on Saturday for four remarkable women from the Khel for their commendable achievements in their respective departments. The women complimented by the Council were Thejangu-ü Kire, Secretary, Law and Justice; Azenuo Pienyü, Rural Development Director; Dr Vibeituonuo M. Sachü, Principal Director, Health and Family Welfare; and Er Neingumeü Kire, Chief Engineer Mechanical (Public Work Department).
In a press release, Dapfütshumia Council informed that its Chairman Pele Khezhie, in his speech during the program, praised the women for their contributions to both the Kohima Village community and the Naga community as a whole. He commended them for their commitment and dedication in serving in important departments.

The Council, in its statement, expressed deep gratitude to all the leaders of the Khel who had worked tirelessly and dedicatedly to uplift the society and the Naga community as a whole. They acknowledged not only the active leaders but also the retired leaders for their significant contributions to the community. The Dapfütsumia Council further expressed hope that such recognition programs would motivate the younger generation to work hard and follow in the footsteps of these leaders. It also stated its aspiration for the younger generation to actively serve and contribute to the welfare of the society, following the example set by the honoured leaders.
The program was attended by Kohima Village Chairman, Head G.B Medo Keretsü, Dapfütsumia Khel head G.B Atei, DMK president Methasie-e, Dapfütsumia Gazetted Officers Krotho (DGOK) President Kikrukuolie Kire, Dapfhütsumia Youth Organisation President Keneisedelie Sachü, Dapfhütsumia Students Union President Mhasituo Kire, Ex Minister Nicky Kire, Retired DGP Ziebu Kire and other dignitaries.
The program was chaired by joint Secy, Keduonei-u Sachü and Khedi Baptist church Pastor Dr Ruokuovilie Sachü blessed the program with prayer.
