The Sunday School Department of the Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers’ Hill Kohima (CBCMHK) celebrated the World Sunday School Day and 9th graduation day under the theme ‘nurturing in the light of the word’ on Sunday, November 5.

During the occasion, a total of 85 students from the class of Knight Templars graduated from the Sunday School to the Youth department. Senior pastor of CBCMHK, Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao, gave away the graduate certificates and pronounced a special prayer for the students.

In his message, Vevo told the graduating students to remember to worship God, serve Him always and defend their faith even as they go out of the Sunday school. Expressing that they are graduating as children of Gods, he encouraged them to go out with confidence that they are the child of God. He added they should go out and face challenges and struggles of life and come back conquering them.

The CBCMHK Sunday School Department comprises of 13 class each, starting from play class to Knight Templars. Besides that, it also have Lerie Sunday School, a CBCMHK sector church. The Sunday school department of CBCMHK is led led by Superintendent Akhrole Ngachu, mentioned the Media and Publicity Committee, Chakhesang Baptists Church Ministers’ Hill Kohima (CBCMHK). Over 1300 children celebrated the occasion and fellowship together through song presentation, reading Bible verses, dances, drama, love feast etc at CBCMHK.
