Minister for Rural Development and SIRD, Metsubo Jamir inaugurated the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) Office l, Peren on 15th December 2023 at New District Head Quarter Peren.

According to DIPR, in his Inaugural speech, the Minister expressed his happiness at the new District Office. He said that the Rural Department Office in the state is the largest functional department and called on the villagers and district officials to understand each other and work together for the welfare of the district as well as for the Department. He also encouraged the entrepreneurs and the gathering to upgrade their livelihood skills.

The inaugural function was presided by BDO Tening while the welcome address was pronounced by C. Khangyang Imlong, Project Director, DRDA Peren
