Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will be on a three days visit to Nagaland as part of his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. He will reach Nagaland on the second day after commencing the Yatra in Manipur, informed NPCC President Supongmeren Jamir today.
Rahul Gandhi will be arriving at Khuzama village (Nagaland-Manipur border) on January 15 evening and will halt the night there. Jamir stated that Gandhi will be touring in a bus.
According to the route released by the party, the congress leader is expected to cover a total of 257 kilometres in Nagaland.

Gandhi will proceed to Kohima from Khuzama on January 16 and is likely to address the people at Phoolbari Junction. Gandhi will thereafter proceed towards Tseminyu district, Wokha district, VK Town and conclude the yatra at Mokokchung district on January 18. He will proceed to Amguri from Mokokchung on the same day.
The NPCC President also informed that the leader will have a series of interaction with people during the yatra.
The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra (India Justice and Unity March) is a campaign which will be spearheaded by the Indian National Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. The Yatra will begin from January 14 from Imphal and culminate on March 20 in Mumbai spanning east-west of India.
The slogan of the Yatra is “Nyay ka haq milne tak” (Until we get justice). According to INC, the Yatra is a strong step towards providing economic, social and political justice to the country’s people.
