YAA indefinite agitation to continue until demands are met

The Yimkhiung Akheru Arihako (YAA) today informed that its indefinite agitation is set to continue until their demand are fulfilled.

The YAA convened a meeting on February 5 at the office chamber of the Principal Director, Directorate of School Education where it claimed that the meeting could not arrive to a logical conclusion. The demand of the YAA is in regard to the deployment of teachers in school across the Yimkhiung Jurisdiction as demanded by the YAA through the ultimatum submitted to the department on January 18,2024.

YAA stated that the ongoing indefinite agitation which started on February 2 will continue until the shortage of Teachers is redressed.

Furthermore, it has directed all the federation units to remain prepared for the call of the YAA to execute further and drastic course of actions obliged to undertake which will be intimated shortly, informed the YAA.
