Nagaland NCP congratulates Ajit Pawar on EC ruling

A day after the Election Commission of India (ECI) recognised Ajit Pawar led Nationalist Congress Party as the real NCP and granted it the right to use “clock” as its symbol, the Nagaland unit of the party has appreciated the commended Pawar for his leadership that has “brought accomplishments bolstering our party image to a new height.”

“We attribute this victory to your hard work and unwavering dedication,” NCP Nagaland President Vanthungo Odhyuo and General Secretary Toka stated in the congratulatory message. They also asserted that they look forward positively to work under Pawar’s “highest level of leadership and skill”

The Election Commission, on Tuesday, denied rights to the party and its symbol to Sharad Pawar, the founder of NCP and ruled in favour of his nephew, Ajit Pawar.
