The District Congress Committee Mokokchung, on behalf of all the Congressmen & Women of Mokokchung District, on Friday, extended its appreciation and gratefulness to Mallikarjun Kharge, President AICC and Rahul Gandhi M.P and former President AICC for nominating Supongmeren Jamir, PCC President (Nagaland) as the INC Candidate for the ensuing Lok Sabha Election 2024 from Nagaland.

“Supongmeren Jamir needs no introduction because through his hard labour and selfless service to the people of Nagaland for more than 3 decades, he has won the hearts of the masses,” stated the DCC Mokokchung adding that the Party then and now has transformed drastically under his visionary leadership.

The DCC Mokokchung further cited the response of the people of Nagaland particularly ; Kohima, Tseminyu, Wokha, Zunheboto and Mokokchung during the “Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra” from January 15-17, which according to them is a living example of the capabilities of the state party leadership and his team.

“The DCC Mokokchung has full faith and confidence on his leadership and as such our district is with him and his team and shall extend our unfailing support to his candidature even in the upcoming Lok Sabha Election. We wish him good health, longevity and success in the days ahead,” stated the Committee.
