The department of social welfare Longleng held its Poshan Maah 2024 closing program on 30th September 2024 at CDPO Office premises with Deputy Commissioner Longleng W. Manpai Phom, NCS as the special guest.

The special guest in his address highlighted that mother and child is the backbone of society and their sound health is very crucial, the DC said Anganwadi workers and helpers has big responsibility and greater role to play for the upliftment of the society. Therefore, he encouraged the Anganwadi workers and helpers to be sincere and dedicated in their service besides Poshan Maah activities.

Special song was presented by Eastern Blind Home, Longleng while the closing remark was given by Senior Supervisor, Er. T. Shahnyu Phom. Earlier the welcome address was said by CDPO Longleng, Anuo Longho and the programme was chaired by Afen Phom, Specialist in Financial Literacy.
