Governor of Nagaland ,La Ganesan has extended greetings and best wishes to the Yimkhiung community and the people of Nagaland on the occasion of Metümnyo festival.
In a message, the Governor said this festival, celebrated with gratitude and reverence, reflects the rich cultural heritage of the Yimkhiung tribe, honoring the departed souls and seeking blessings for peace, harmony, and prosperity.
Metümnyo is a time for fostering unity, reconciliation, and strengthening bonds of friendship among families and communities, he said and wished that this festive occasion bring happiness, good health and abundant blessings to all and may the spirit of togetherness continue to guide us towards harmony and progress.
