Yashoda Hospitals Hyderabad joins Nagaland’s CMHIS

Yashoda Hospitals has officially partnered with the Nagaland Government’s Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS. Under this scheme, eligible residents of Nagaland can avail free and cashless treatment at Yashoda Hospitals in Hyderabad.

The scheme benefits Employees and Pensioners (EP category), where the family coverage is up to Rs 20 lakh per year; General Category (GC), where the family coverage is up to Rs 5 lakhs per year.

The specialist care includes cardiology, oncology, neurology, nephrology, pulmonology, gastro surgery, orthopedics, and other advanced departments.

Informing this, Karthihaivelan, Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer, Yashoda Hospitals said, “We are delighted to partner with the Nagaland Government under the CMHIS programme. The overwhelming response of over 200 inquiries in the first month reflects the trust people have in our care. With access to MR-Linac and other advanced therapies, patients from Nagaland can now receive world-class treatment without financial burden. Our OPD service and Help Desk in Dimapur and Kohima ensure seamless support, from Hyderabad to local follow-ups.”

It was informed that the Yashoda Hospitals would start its OPD in Dimapur and Kohima within a month.

Yashoda Hospital, Hyderabad has four independent hospitals in Somajiguda, Secunderabad, Malakpet and Hitech city with 4000 beds.

The hospital is set to welcome its first patient from Nagaland for MR-Linac treatment, a state-of-the-art cancer radiation therapy normally costing around Rs 8 lakh, now available free under CMHIS.

Meanwhile, a dedicated Help Desk has been established to support patients with Hyderabad medical trip planning; Airport pick-up and drop; Hospital accommodation arrangements; and personal assistance throughout treatment.
