On its 3rd anniversary, 90.8 Hills FM reaffirm service to community

Community radio 90.8 Hills FM has completed three years On Air, marking a milestone on September 8 and reaffirmed its commitment to serving the community through meaningful programming and awareness campaigns.

In a release on Monday, 90.8 Hills FM stated that since its launch in 2022, the community radio has strived to deliver quality programmes, connecting communities, and being a “trusted source” of music, news, and conversation. It appreciated the support of listeners and support team.

“As part of this milestone, 90.8 Hills FM reaffirms its commitment to serving the community through meaningful programming and awareness campaigns that touch on issues of environment, health, culture, and civic responsibility,” the release stated. The station also stated that it has strengthened its network of collaborations including Dimapur Municipal Council, Dimapur Forest Division, and Nagaland Pollution Control Board (NPCB) to ensure that important information continues reaching the public.

Looking ahead, 90.8 Hills FM expressed the objective to expand its reach further, continue supporting government and community-led programs, and create more platforms where people’s voices can be heard.
