The Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) Unit, Kiphire District, in collaboration with Atshikeh Trust and Akeda Amulung MMU Unit, organized a series of health camps under the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan campaign at Thangthure Village and Good Shepherd High School, Kiphire.
The initiative drew participation from a wide cross-section of the community, including children, adolescents, and the elderly, with a special focus on maternal and child health. Villagers received an array of screenings and interventions, including 4Ds screening for children, oral cancer screening, Entero-test, haemoglobin (Hb) testing, hypertension screening, random blood glucose (RBG) testing, HIV screening, NS1 antigen screening, scrub typhus serological testing, malaria antigen testing, and tetanus toxoid (TT) vaccination. Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials were also distributed.

Health education sessions were conducted on menstrual health and hygiene, oral health practices, tobacco-use cessation, and other key health topics. Adolescent girls and women received sanitary pads to promote safe menstrual practices. Additionally, intrauterine contraceptive device (IUD) procedures were carried out for two women.
The camp provided preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic services aimed at improving overall community health while empowering women and families through accessible medical care and awareness.
