The match began with Dimapur SC asserting their attacking intent early on as Rhitsho opened the scoring in the 13th minute, finishing off a quick counter-attack that caught the Police defence off balance. Despite trailing, Nagaland Police FC held greater control of the ball, commanding 51.76% possession and patiently probing for openings throughout the first half.
Their persistence finally paid off when Limakumzuk equalised in the 70th minute, capitalising on a rebound to bring the game level. With the momentum shifting, Nagaland Police looked poised to push for a winner, but their efforts were repeatedly stifled by a resilient Dimapur SC backline.
In the dying moments of the match, Gaichui became the hero for Dimapur SC, slotting home the decisive goal in the 80+2nd minute, silencing the opposition and securing all three points.

Their fluid passing and quick transitions repeatedly tore through Wokha’s defensive lines, as the goals began to flow.
Vinato opened the scoring in the 23rd minute from the penalty spot, setting the tone for the match. Pangersunep doubled the lead in the 31st minute with a composed finish following a slick team move. Just before halftime, Eshong made it 3–0, calmly converting another penalty in the 43rd minute as Langsa Hill tightened their grip on the game.
