In pursuance of the Home Department circular regarding the implementation of the Har Ghar Tiranga program from 13th to 15th August 2022, as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Deputy Commissioner Dimapur Sachin Jaiswal IAS held a meeting of all heads of offices and civil societies under Dimapur district on 2nd August 2022 in the conference hall of DC Dimapur.
In the meeting, Sachin while stating that people’s participation was required for the campaign, and he urged civil societies for disseminating the message.
He also informed all concerned about collecting the requisite number of flags as per requirement from the DC’s Office, Dimapur. Pointing out that everyone has the right to hoist the national flag, Sachin however reminded all concerned to take extra care while flying the National flag and for proper disposal privately in a proper space after 15th August, for showing a gesture of respect to the National flag. Further, Sachin informed them that selfie booths will be set up in the office of DC and CP Dimapur and District Hospital Dimapur. One can upload the households with the National flag selfie and may upload to the website of Gar Ghar Tiranga, he added.
Secretary, Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chandu Agarwal who also attended the meeting on behalf of the organization volunteered to set up selfie booths at City Tower, Plaza point, Marwari Patti and Hongkong market to commemorate the occasion.
In another meeting held on the same day, DC Dimapur directed the HoOs for ensuring compulsory attendance of all the staff till Group D employees during the Independence Day celebration 2022. In the meeting, work distribution was assigned to different departments. Commissioner Police Dimapur, Rothihu Tetseo informed that parade practice would commence on the 8th of August and the final rehearsal will take place on the 13th of August.
