Following days of continuous rainfall, Zenuobadze Colony—one of the seven colonies under Ward 1—experienced severe water-logging, with several pockets facing minor flooding. The rising water levels caused significant inconvenience to local residents and severely disrupted daily movement.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Ward 1 Councillor, Kelhousenuo Khruomo swiftly stepped in to organize a voluntary drainage-clearing drive to restore water flow and mitigate the flooding.
Demanding a collective effort, the Zenuobadze Council, the Women Organisation, and the local youth joined forces alongside the Councillor to clear heavily blocked drains and choked water channels.
