Festival of Speed held at Thizama, 4th Battalion NAP Grounds

On April 12, Kohima witnessed the electrifying Festival of Speed, presented by JK Tyre Motorsport, at the Thizama 4th Battalion NAP grounds. The event marked the 25th Anniversary of the Nagaland Adventure & Motor Sports Association (NAMSA) and brought together motorsport enthusiasts from across the region for an unforgettable celebration, informed a press release by KAKI Marketing.

Event Highlights:

The program began with Neingulie Nakhro as the Master of Ceremonies. The Welcome Address was delivered by Tovi Chophi, General Secretary of NAMSA, followed by remarks from Hari Singh, Head of Operations at JK Tyres & Industries Limited, who emphasized JK Tyre’s commitment to promoting motorsports in India.

Kuputo Shohe, Advisor of NAMSA, led the felicitation ceremony, acknowledging NAMSA’s legacy and contributions to motorsports over the past 25 years. The event also featured a musical interlude that added a touch of entertainment before concluding with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Lhouvi Punyü.
