Government High School PWD Kohima received a generous donation of IT materials by Er. Talitemsu Jamir (E.E Horticulture, Art and Culture) Govt. Of Nagaland on March 24. The dedicatory programme was held at the school.
Acknowledging the hard work of the teachers and staffs, Er. Talitemsu Jamir Jamir recounted his days of being classmate with Neizokhoü Vizo who is now the Asst. Headmistress, GHS PWD, Kohima and for the same he expressed a closeness to this school. Jamir being in touch with GHS for various reasons appreciated the sincerity and dedication of the teachers and encouraged the students to have a desire and to have good aim in life . Two Computer sets including UPS and a printer were donated.
Neizokhoü Vizo, Asst. Headmistress appreciated Er. Talitemsu for his generous donation. “Education today greatly depend on technology. With these new tools, our schools will be equipped with quality education and ensure smooth administrative operation,” said Vizo who underscored that the IT materials will greatly boost the learning experience of the students as well as help in the efficiency of school staffs.

The act of contribution has made an investment in the future of our students, Headmistress highlighted who expressed hope for the resources to be put for best possible use.
Speaking on the sidelines of the inaugural program , Headmistress Vizo highlighted about the social audit public hearing under Samakra Shiksha which was held on March 21 where the auditor had appreciated GHS PWD, specifically the innovative skill development. Vizo stated that GHS PWD could receive the recognition due to the collaborative effort contributed by the community, parents, teachers and students. Vizo also congratulated Miss Kevisonuo Maria from GHS PWD Kohima for being awarded the top 5 projects under literacy teacher category in Nagaland literacy and numeracy fest 2 conducted during 2024 to 25. Vizo thanked her for bringing laurel to GHS PWD.
During the dedicatory programme of IT Materials , the inaugural address was given by Michael Neikha(Chairman PWD Colony, Kohima).
