Good Shepherd High School, Kiphire officially began its Annual Sports Meet 2025 today with the opening ceremony taking place at the school playground.

In his inaugural speech, the Head Master, T.V. Thomas, encouraged students to give their best in every event. He reminded them to participate according to their strengths and interests, and to enjoy the true spirit of sportsmanship.

The sports meet will be held for two days. Students have been divided into four groups to take part in different games and competitions. Each group is led by a Captain and a Vice-Captain, and guided by teachers who serve as group in-charges.

The first day featured a march-past, followed by exciting track and field events. Cheers and applause filled the air as students showed their talents, teamwork, and determination.

The event aims to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and confidence among students. The school looks forward to more thrilling events on the second day, ending with prize distribution and closing remarks.
