Acknowledging the heavy patient load in Pfutsero Community Health Centre (CHC) especially with those coming from surrounding villages, minister for Health and Family Welfare (HFW) P Paiwang Konyak gave his commitment to upgrade the CHC with essential manpower and infrastructure support.
The minister mad the assurance following his visit at the CHC Pfutsero while returning from Phek district headquarters after inspecting the District Hospital.
Konyak commended the health workers for their dedication in catering the large number of patients on a daily basis besides many challenges.
Following the visit, the minister assured to fill the gaps by providing an additional Medical Officer, procurement of X-ray and an ultrasound machine, construction of security fencing, repair and renovation in addition to a new block.

During his return leg of the tour, the minister also halted briefly at the Integrated Ayush Hospital Razha, Chedema and paid a quick visit to the hospital and interacted with the patients.
While thanking the department officials and all the people involved in participating in the department state-wide tour, minister Konyak said that the tour was an eye-opening experience, shedding light on ground realities and that the department must continue to advance its initiatives, undeterred by the challenges that lie ahead.
