The Dedication and Blessing cum kick off program of Khrielievi Chüsi,  NDPP candidate ward no. 17 (Agri, Forest ,Mewibogei, Electrical, Agri farm colony) organised by the Upper Agri Panchayat was held at AEF council hall Junction today.

In his speech, Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome appealed the gathering  to choose the right person. He asked people not to be discouraged because of the last election result, but exuded optimism for the upcoming election. He also asked the people to maintain peace and unity and not to break the peace of society because of the election.

Candidate Khrielievi Chusi in his speech stated that he is contesting not for individual interest but  for the colony. He assured to work for everyone in the field of Inclusive development, environmental stewardship, quality public services, education and youth programs, transparent governance and health  and social services.

President NDPP, Kohima region shared that it was not easy choosing the candidates to give the party ticket. Mentioning that people are in misunderstanding because NDPP is in alliance with BJP, the President reminded the main reason for the alliance is to be in friendly association with them to bring fund for the development of the state. “The Lok Sabha failed because people could not differentiate between BJP and NDPP. We are also against and condemn any religious persecution,” he said, assuring their party is committed for development.

Mhasisalie Solo, Chairman Upper Agri Panchayat in his speech stated that the colony believe that their candidate will bring change and development in their colony.

The vote of thanks was pronounced by Akum Jamir and the program was chaired by Imchadila Changkiri. The program was blessed by Vivotso Tsurhuo and Tepuniel Tepa.
