Kohima Ward no.15 identifies issues in jurisdiction that need corrective measures for welfare of colony

Kohima: The Council also informed that the second phase of verification will be conducted May and June 2023

Tsiepfütsiepfhe Council, A. G. Colony, Kohima Ward no.15 along with GBs, Sector Union Office Bearers and Youth Organisation conducted inspections in jurisdiction to identify the issues that need corrective measures in the interest and welfare of the colony. The Council informed that verifications were carried out on 19 and 23 April 2023.

In its joint exercise, the local body found that corrective measures were needed for removal of illegal constructions encroaching the roads and footpaths; immediate construction and repair of roads, footpaths, drainages, additional water reservoirs, additional water distribution points, etc; relocation of welcome gate, Electricity and Reliance Jio Infocom Ltd posts, etc.’

While appreciating individuals who donated their private lands for road and footpath widening, public utilities and other conveniences, the Tsiepfütsiepfhe Council also appealed to all landowners, concern departments, companies, organisations, individuals, etc of Ward no.15 to extend fullest support and cooperation in its undertakings.

The Council also informed that the second phase of verification will be conducted May and June 2023.
