Nyiro Range Sports Association and Englan Range Sports Association, on Monday, exchanged flowers at the Public Ground Wokha as a sign of forgiveness and reconciliation. The gesture was also symbolic of the suspended teams’ respect towards the game.
The two football teams were suspended on 27th January 2024 by the Wokha District Football Association (WDFA) for a period of one year after their supporters entered the field and started pelting stones at each other during their match in the ongoing Lotha Football Championship 2024.

On Monday, the management and players of Nyiro Range Sports Association and Englan Range Sports Association displayed great courage by coming out at Public Ground, Wokha and exchanging flowers.
