Naga Cuisine restaurant launched in Kiphire

The Naga Cuisine restaurant by local entrepreneur, Khumpili Ayonger, has launched in Kiphire today. Aiming to provide an authentic indigenous culinary experience, the new restaurant is the second outlet of the “Smoky Pot” chain, which was first launched in 2019 to share traditional Naga recipes.

Located opposite to Delux point, Kiphire main town. “Naga Cuisine” was inaugurated with prominent members in the community and well-wishers in attendance.

Khumpili Ayonger expressed his gratitude to the people of Kiphire for their continuing support, citing his main goal was to generate employment for local youths and boosting the local economy.

An interesting feature of the ”Naga Cuisine” is that it offers indigenous coffee harvested in Kiphire, courtesy to a partnership with the Land Resources Department, informed Ayonger. The restaurant’s staff has been praised for maintaining high culinary standards.

The launch event included a dedicatory prayer by Associate Pastor, Alison Sangtam, a special song by Lumzila Sangtam, winner of the StarGazer Solo contest 2024 and was chaired by Atongba Mongzar Associate pastor, KTBL

The new restaurant Is a vibrant addition to the Kiphire culinary scene, offering a unique experience for food lovers and supporting the local community.
