Nagaland Police has issued an advisory urging administrators and members of social media groups to exercise caution while posting, sharing, or forwarding messages, images, videos or other content on various online platforms.
The advisory stated that if any content shared on social media platforms is found to violate the law or has the potential to incite unrest, both the individual responsible for posting or forwarding the content and the concerned group administrator could be held liable. Appropriate legal action would be initiated against violators in accordance with the provisions of law, it added.
