The Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation & KYRO India’s Visionary Conclave – Shaping the Future of Viksit Bharat was held at Dr. Imkongliba Hall, Raj Bhavan, Officer’s Hill, Kohima, Nagaland on October 5.
Governor of Nagaland La Ganeshan in his presidential address stated it is a time of unprecedented opportunity, where the synergy between innovation, patriotism, and hard work will drive our journey to becoming a global leader.
Applauding all the change makers and accomplished individuals present, the Governor acknowledged the relentless efforts and contributions toward nation-building in diverse areas of business, commerce, arts, entrepreneurship, journalism, or any other field. He said their dedication has significantly propelled the nation forward and further embodied the spirit of Bharat Mata, and they felicitate and celebrate them today. He said Nation-building is a collective endeavor. Each one of them haa a role to play.
“One must also look towards the future with a sense of responsibility and resolve. Our youth are the torchbearers of this new India. It is your creativity, energy, and passion that will drive us forward,” expressed Ganesan.
He encouraged all to embrace the spirit of patriotism not just as love for the motherland, but as a commitment to contribute positively to the country. He added that Patriotism is not just a sentiment but is a profound responsibility and the students and youth must carry this torch of patriotism fervently. Embrace this responsibility with pride and unwavering dedication, advised the Governor.

The governor also highlighted the contributions of freedom fighters emphasising that the youth now bear a moral responsibility to honour their legacy and work towards the vision of Amrit Kaal and Viksit Bharat by embodying their spirit of nationalism and nation building.
Earlier a special prayer song and National Anthem was presented by Mezhür Higher Secondary School, Kohima and the welcome delivered by R Pascal Sasil, Founder & National Convenor, KYRO India
A Special Address on Nation Building was shared by Dr. Abhishek Malhotra, Professor of Economics at University of Delhi & Research Fellow at Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation. Retd. Justice Songkhupchung Serto,Chairman, Nagaland State Human Rights Commission also spoke during the event.
