NBSE has notified to all the registered Heads of Institutions that the Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy and Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs that the Government of India has issued directions to onboard all educational institutions as “Knowledge Institutions” on MYBharat portal, informed DIPR.
The MYBharat portal has been launched as an institutional mechanism for use by anyone to improve their youth outreach and their ability to build capacities of youth; schools and colleges are ideally placed to benefit from this mechanism. Experiential learning activities and volunteering for community service are recognized as standard tools through which youth can improve their team-building, problem-solving and communication skills and their organizational abilities. MYBharat portal offers the facility to provide access to such activities of youth.

The Universities/Colleges/Schools/Technical Institutions upon successful onboarding as knowledge Institutions will get a dedicated web page through which, the institution would be able to create digital version of any youth engagement events like short term ‘Volunteer for Bharat’ and longer term ‘Experiential Learning’ events.
Youth who participate in these events will see their work reflected on the individual profile pages provided to youth on the portal. The Board also provided the registration link for onboarding of any educational institution, https://mybharat.gov.in/partner_register and the enclosed SOP for self-registration may be followed for successful onboarding onto MYBharat portal.
In this regard, Heads of Institutions are informed to register as Knowledge Institution through the mentioned link at the earliest possible time and make use of MYBharat portal.
