The Nerhemia Dzevi Houzha (NDH), comprising of Nerhema, Nerhe-Phezha, and Nerhe-Model village with its constituent units has expressed its commitment to the movement of the Angami Youth Organization (AYO) in the fight against unlawful activities carried out by any group in the name of the Naga Political Struggle.
While appreciating the Angami Youth Organization (AYO) in spearheading the movement, the NDH also expressed outrage over the threat of capital punishment issued to the Proprietor of M/s KKB Rülho, Kezhaleo Rülho, by NSCN/GPRN (Khango).
“This cowardly and reprehensible act of intimidation against a son of our village is not merely a personal attack but a direct challenge to the entire Nerhema community. It is the bounden duty of our community to defend our son at any cost, if any harm is caused to him,” stated the NDH.
While meant to deliver justice and deter crime, the NDH viewed that, the threat of capital punishment raises deep ethical concerns and highlights the extent of state power over life. Issuing such a threat without considering its severity demeans and insults the entire group that NSCN/GPRN (Khango) represents, stated the organisation.
The NDH also reminded on the sacrifices the Nerhema Village made since the inception of the Naga struggle for political independence. “These sacrifices stand as a testament to our unwavering commitment, “like a candle that burns out while lighting the path”,” asserted the NDH.

A prominent businessman, Kezhaleo Rülho has been recognized for his exemplary work and on whom many families depend on, the NDH claimed.
Rülho was awarded the “Best Performance Contractor” by the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL) during its 9th Inception Day, celebrated on July 18, 2023 in New Delhi, by Gen. V.K. Singh, Minister of State, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
According to the NDH, an attack on a prominent figure, marked by threats and intimidation, underscores the vulnerability and challenges faced by those who significantly contribute to our community, society. It further viewed that such actions not only disrupt the personal security of individuals but also threaten the foundational values of respect and integrity that are crucial for the progress and cohesion of society.
“We stand united in our unwavering commitment to the movement of the Angami Youth Organization (AYO) in the fight against such threats or any form of unlawful activities carried out by any group in the name of the Naga Political Struggle prevailing in our society. We anticipate all right-thinking citizens to join the movement to eliminate such reprehensible practices for the betterment of our community,” urged the NDH.
